Aiming to elucidate and utilize the new functionality of food materials, we are analyzing the functionality of food materials by evaluating nuclear receptor activation, and conducting research and development related to the production of functional lipids by microorganisms. We are also developing reporter assays and molecular imaging techniques utilizing bioluminescence systems, as well as research on the regulation of gene expression by light.
