We are focusing on the diverse environmental adaptation strategies of insects. Our aim is to comprehensively elucidate the underlying mechanisms from individual organism to molecular and material levels, employing a wide range of experimental approaches. In particular, we are focusing on the intricate interactions between insects and symbiotic microbes and bacterial manipulation techiniques employed by insects.
