Masato Sato, Post-doctoral researcher

Masato finished his PhD degree at the Graduate University for Advanced Studies (SOKENDAI). He learned theoretical evolutionary ecology in the group of Prof. Akira Sasaki, and studied evolutionary dynamics of exploitation by symbiont in symbiotic systems at extreme and heterogeneous environments. He joined our lab in April 2022 and started research on interactions between hosts and their symbiont bacteria of honeybee-gut microbiota system.
