Microbial Engineering through Bioinformatics

Project

Here, we introduce bioinformatic technologies for the design of metabolic pathways and sequences. If you are interested in the content, please contact Takeaki Taniguchi and Koji Ishiya.

Our research team is developing novel algorithms and bioinformatics tools to gather essential information on microbial design, model and simulate traits and dynamics, and design metabolic pathways and sequences using omics data. We are also engaged in genome assembly, gene structural and functional annotation, comparative genomics, statistical analysis, and network modeling for transcriptome data, computational simulation of metabolic regulation, and development of technologies for designing functional peptide and protein sequences using machine learning and AI.
