MISSION

We can find living organisms in quite diverse variety of environments exhibiting a widely diverse functions. Our research group is developing useful technologies through an approach to utilize such diverse biological functions. Particularly, we are doing research including fundamental and applied studies on microbial energy metabolisms in anaerobic environments, and molecular mechanisms of bioluminescent animals.
