Biotechnology development for bioeconomy society based on food-functional and molecular evaluation technologies
Reusable bioresources and biotechnologies are expected to develop a circular and sustainable economy. Our group aims to develop the biotechnology toward the implement of this bioeconomy society.
We set “Food Functionality and Molecular Evaluation” as a group mission, and develop biotechnologies for screening, evaluation, discovery, and modification of bioactive molecules in food and of functional biomolecules such as proteins and nucleic acids.
