Dr. Sakae Tsuda, a chief senior researcher of Biomolecular Engineering Research Group, received the Society Award from Japanese Society for Cryobiology and Cryotechnology(JSCC) for excellence of his work regarding “Functional analysis of antifreeze protein toward its practical applications”. This society was established in 1959, and Tsuda was awarded as the 8th winner of this prize. More details are shown in the JSCC’s website.
